MANAGEMENT
Mr. R. Damodaraswamy Naidu, Founder of Kalpana Group, was born on 4th June 1944, in a small village of Udumalpet. As an ambitions man in life, he started his career as a building contractor where he has worked on many projects in and around Coimbatore. Later he entered into the field of finance and real estate where he excelled. Wishing to serve the people, he then created Kalpana Mandapam & the Kalpana theatre. Later he ventured into the field of textile industry and also started a petrol bunk. Further extending, he has excelled his son in creating a Hospital mainly to serve the people with latest medical advancements at affordable costs.
Dr. D. Balachander, Managing Director of Kalapana Medical Centre, a well renowned Orthopaedic Surgeon, a backbone of the founder, completed his MBBS degree at PSG Institute of Medical Sciences in 1994. He did his M.S.(Ortho) from JJM Medical College in Davangere and underwent a fellowship in trauma care at Sanjai Gandhi Hospital in Bangalore for one year. After being trained in trauma care, he had begun his professional life by extending his medical service as visiting consultants in various reputed medical institutions namely Ramakrishna Hospital, Ellen Hospital, K.R. Hospital, Aravindan Nursing Home, Bishop Walsh Memorial Hospital and Akilash Ortho Hospital. He is the most revered trauma surgeon.

ABOUT KMC
KMC is located on Mettupalayam road in half acre of land, building with lot of open space all around. The building has multiple floor levels inter connected with stairs, ramps and elevators. The building is designed scientifically to suit the hospital needs. All the Zones for the procedures are provided with temperature controlled and laminar flow systems. Strict aseptic techniques are in place.
KMC has its own home care service with Ambulances and pick up vans, the facility is available all round the clock.
KMC has 100 In-patient beds which can be expandable upto 150 beds. The hospital has 15 bedded ICU and 10 bedded Casualty to handle all kinds of Pediatric, Medical, Surgical, Maternity, Accidents Emergency.All these areas are equipped with computer controlled haemodynamic monitors,and Ventilators, Organspecific assist devices in addition to automatic drug delivery systems.
KMC has full range of Diagnostic Facilities that includes clinical, pathological and microbiological laboratories managed by the expertise. Like wise, KMC imaging division consisting of whole body Ultrasound, Doppler and X-Ray, CT-Scan.
KMC has three Ultra Modern Operation Theatres equipped with remote controlled OT tables, bright but cold operating light system and computer navigated systems for precise and perfect execution of surgical procedures.
KMC surgical division has the entire infrastructure to the surgical problems of Brain and Spine , Bones and Joints, Kidneys and Reproductive organs.
KMC Women Clinic has the special Birthing Suites facility for painless deliveries and infrastructure to take care of High-risk pregnancies.
